GLFP 10期US生のフェアウェルパーティーを開催しました。/ Farewell party of the GLFP 10th US Cohort was held.

2024年７月17日（水）、GLFP 10期US生のフェアウェルパーティーを行いました。
会場には10期早大生4名も集まり、リー留学センター所長、GLFP担当教員からお言葉をいただき、その後軽食を囲みながら歓談のひと時を過ごしました。
10期US生からの挨拶では、約1年間の日本滞在中の思い出や早稲田でGLFP生として過ごした日々のこと、10期早大生と一緒に過ごした中でできた思い出話の数々を知ることができました。また、10期早大生からも2人に向けて早大のGLFPプログラムを選んでくれたからこそ出会えたことへの感謝、留学生活を終えることへのねぎらいの言葉、いつかまた日本またはアメリカで再会できることを望む気持ちなどが述べられました。
今後の2人の活躍と、GLFPコミュニティの絆が続いていくことを祈っています。
On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, we held a farewell party for GLFP 10th US students.
Four GLFP 10th Waseda students gathered at the venue, where the Prof. Rhee, Dean of the Center for International Education, and faculty of GLFP forum and seminars delivered congratulatory remarks to the students, followed by a pleasant time of chatting over light refreshments.
In the greeting from the 10th US students, we were able to learn about their memories during their approximately one-year stay in Japan, their days spent as GLFP students at Waseda, and many other memorable stories made during their time with the 10th Waseda students. The 10th Waseda students also expressed their gratitude to the two students for having met each other because they chose GLFP program at Waseda University, their words of encouragement for completing their study abroad experience, and their hopes to meet again in Japan or the U.S. someday.
We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors and hope that the bond between the GLFP community will continue.
