2021年1月8日（金）、GLFP６，７，８，９期生合同のオンライン交流会を開催しました。コロナ渦で対面での行事が中止となる中、せめてオンラインでもGLFPメンバーの交流の機会を作ることができればと、実施しました。27名の参加があり、賑やかな会となりました。第一部ではCohortsごと、第二部では派遣校ごとの交流会、第三部では就職活動についての質問会を行い、約2時間の会となりました。Cohorts同志の交流を深めるだけでなく、留学先の授業や寮について、帰国後の進路など、実際にGLFPに参加した先輩から具体的な情報を聞くことができ、有意義な時間となったようです。
An Online-meetup of the GLFP 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th cohorts was held on January 8, 2021. The purpose of the meetup is for the cohorts to get together and share their knowledge and experience, in the midst of the pandemic, where face-to-face events are being cancelled. 27 GLFP members participated. It was a very lively meetup. In the 1st session, the participants were divided into each year’s cohort, while they formed groups according to their host schools in the 2nd session. The members then shared questions and answers about job hunting in the 3rd session. The meetup lasted for about 2 hours. The participants were able not only to deepen their relationships but also to acquire specific information from those who actually had participated in GLFP about the classes and living environments in US and future paths after the program. They seemed to share a productive time.
