We held a completion ceremony for the GLFP 11th Cohort (September graduates).
Oct. 08, 2025
On Monday, September 22, 2025, we held a completion ceremony for the GLFP 11th cohort (September graduates). Among the three 11th cohort students who had just taken part in the graduation ceremony on Saturday, September 20, one had already started a new chapter as a graduate student in the U.S. and joined the ceremony via Zoom. The other two September graduates, along with three 11th cohort students scheduled to graduate at the end of the 2025 academic year, gathered for the event. At the ceremony, we heard remarks from the Prof. Rhee, Dean of the Center for International Education and faculty of GLFP Forum and seminars., followed by the presentation of completion certificates and commemorative gifts.
We received words of gratitude from the graduates for the diverse experiences they were able to gain through this program, along with their kind wishes to continue contributing to it in some way in the future. The 11th cohort was exceptionally bright, actively participating in a variety of events and enjoying themselves to the fullest together. They also realized new initiatives they conceived collectively, such as planning the Nikko field trip and creating their own graduation commemorative item (the GLFP hoodie). They deepened their relationships with GLFP faculty and GLFP staff members as well, allowing us to spend a truly enjoyable year together.
Reflecting on how this program could be made even better…This year, we learned so much from the 11th cohort. We sincerely hope that these bonds will continue for years to come, and that each member of the 11th cohort will thrive in their respective future paths.
